Hello
So glad you are here. Earlier chapters focused on leading global teams, driving large scale change and creating impact with communication. I have always been most interested in the individuals. Their backgrounds, stories and what makes them tick fascinates me. The real stuff, how each person got to where they are and what is it they want to do next.
In that way my focus remains the same: To help people find situations where they can be a remarkable version of themselves.
My Story

For more than 30 years, I’ve walked with elders and their families as they face the complexities of aging. Along with serving as a medical power of attorney, I’ve supported the aging at home, guided families through searches for senior living communities, and held space at the end of life as a death doula and Hopewell Hospice volunteer/trainer. I believe that my role is to be an extension of another person, honoring their wishes and values while helping their family find clarity and confidence in uncertain times. That’s at the heart of everything I do.

I’m known for being able to quickly assimilate information and determine a path forward, even amidst ambiguity. Those I work with have also recognized that I easily establish rapport, infusing situations with a steady, “big sister vibe” to help families feel grounded. I pair strong listening skills and a keen eye for nuance with the ability to ask thoughtful questions and examine the implications of each choice. My background in planning and facilitation allows me to take complex, emotional situations and split them into manageable steps, crafting plans that feel both compassionate and practical.

In addition to working as an elder advocate and advisor, I am Usui-attuned Reiki Master. Through a meditation-based practice, I help settle the body’s energy, address agitation and anxiety, assist in release, and provide visualizations to soothe, reframe, and restore.
I greatly enjoy the work I do, as well as walks deep into the forest in the company of my dog, altering recipes while baking, traveling with my family, and collecting artful jewelry.
